Worked as you said. Looks like the main issue is that the Fedora Core site (http://fedora.redhat.com) is down at the moment, and the mirrorlist is right there. If you need the downloaded packages the go to /var/log/cache/yum. The word "archive" should not only be in the subdomain of the URL but also in the path section of it between "pub" and "fedora". People are usually told not to use obsolete versions of Fedora.
