I recently (and not so recently) ran into this same problem installing a clean install of SMS 2003 SP2 in a brand new Server 2003 EE R2 domain. I have seen this at a site where a client deployed SMS into their Forest root domain. Do I need to provide a round-trip ticket in check-in? SLP Class SMS-SLP-(removed)-(removed) already exists.
