Please help I tried a Memorex DVD+R and got the same result--- won't play in 2nd player. The reason is the DVD burning software you use didn't burn a DVD in the right video DVD format. I actually cannot believe HP is still selling those horrible blanks discs either ;(. Could be the disk, could be your computer, could be a speck of dust.
As for the files you already have, either redownload in the right encoding or look into converting. DVDs The encoded video (MPEG2) on a DVD is stored in digital format, but it's formatted NTSC or PAL.
