Again I was able to connect, but the connection was dropped. I was right, by default it makes the assumption that the TFTP server is also the LTSP server. BTW your message before didnt do anything and the system admin told me to change it back to udp. In those scenarios, you can setup the tftpboot services accordingly and the OS installation can be done remotely (you need to have the autoyast configuration file to automate the OS installation

I'm thinking maybe a kernel argument needs to be changed for this to work because it seems to assume on some level that the TFTP server is also hosting LTSP. yup - right on!
