This is an Iomega 320gb external hard drive, which shows under Device Manager as a Samsung320JX, but does not show in Disk Management or Windows Explorer. check over here Windows tries to blame the device for malfunctioning, but it's normally a problem with Windows.
Shame as it had all family photos and stuff that I purposely put on here to protect against PC re-builds. I assigned it "H" which left a gap between "E" and "G" for Win 7 to assign to other USB devices on a temporary basis. Since it’s freeware, you may want to simply try it and decide things yourself. The problem is that no pc even reads it as a new or unrecognized device, it's like the device isn't even there.
It suddenly stopped working and I am freaking out a little because I have ALL my data of the external hard drive.
