Next time i logged in I didnt need to add the administrator password. The domain name typically is the name of the machine which you are connecting to. Browse other questions tagged windows-xp or ask your own question. By default, the Aministrator password in Windows XP Home Edition is blank.

there are some GPO's which clear passwords but you would have to see if the policy is configured on the domain / local policy. The sequence is important. Is there a way to save this password?
