That goes for Windows just as much as any other product Microsoft sells. Still has that bad battery issue (and not fixed by flashing to the latest version). Very useful tool I use all the time with the computers I see. This one won't boot from USB - it is a 2004 model and the last time it was used was 2006.
Rather, the updates are all failing. . From a corporate standpoint, I completely agree with Microsoft's decision to stop pouring money in to XP. This is what I mean by M$ benefiting from the Public side and Business/Gov't side. Microsoft really wants organizations to upgrade so it can forget Windows XP, and punitive fees encourage that.
